Founder & Director
Jean-Philippe (JP) began his career in France after completing his Master’s degree in Software Engineering at Université Claude Bernard in Lyon in 1992. His early years were spent building technical expertise across diverse industries – from developing computer-generated imaging applications for monument illumination at the National Scientific Research Centre, to helping create network software for France Telecom, and working on biological organism detection systems at BioMérieux. These formative years in France established his foundation in software architecture, team leadership, and complex system development.
A pivotal move to Switzerland in 2002 with consulting firm ENODIA (Altran Group) exposed JP to high-stakes international finance and rigorous project management. Greatly aiding the CHF10M redevelopment project, he learned to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and managed to rescue the failing project. This Swiss experience taught him the precision and methodology that would become hallmarks of his leadership style, while working with distributed teams.
JP’s 13-year tenure in Australia from 2003-2016 marked a period of tremendous professional growth and expanding responsibilities. Starting as a Software Architect in Brisbane’s emerging health technology sector, he progressively took on larger challenges – from managing the first stage of a AU$13 million government project at the Queensland Department of Education to leading 40-person teams at mining software company Mincom, and eventually directing Asia-Pacific operations for Boréalis with budgets exceeding AU$5.5 million.
During this Australian chapter, JP mastered the art of large-scale project recovery, turning around failing initiatives and building up high-performing teams. His work spanned mining, oil, gas, government, and cloud technologies, giving him exposure to enterprise-scale challenges and modern software development practices. The Australian experience taught him to manage cultural diversity, work across time zones, and deliver complex solutions for global clients including Coca-Cola, American Express, and major energy companies.
Today, as both Founder of Casoft and Director at Edulog, JP leverages this unique international perspective to successfully adapt North American educational transportation solutions.
Casoft International was founded in 2016 as Edulog’s French development center. The company operates remotely across France and specializes in software development, testing, and deployment for Edulog’s school transport management system. The company maintains operational autonomy while working as an integrated component of Edulog’s international structure.
As Program Director, JP’s responsibilities include:
- Managing software development of Edulog’s School Transportation Management Solution.
- Coordinating communication between teams in the US, France, and Vietnam.
- Managing the implementation of micro-services architecture systems running in AWS cloud
- Establishing testing teams and DevOps CI/CD processes.
- Contributing to SOC2 security framework compliance.
