Jean-Philippe (JP) began his career in France after completing his Master’s degree in Software Engineering at Université Claude Bernard in Lyon in 1992. His early years were spent building technical expertise across diverse industries—from developing computer-generated imaging applications for monument illumination at the National Scientific Research Centre, to helping create network software for France Telecom, and working on biological organism detection systems at BioMérieux. These formative years established his foundation in software architecture, team leadership, and complex system development.
A pivotal move to Switzerland in 2002 with consulting firm ENODIA (Altran Group) exposed JP to high-stakes international finance and rigorous project management. By contributing to the CHF10M redevelopment project, he learned to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and successfully rescued the failing initiative. This experience instilled the precision and methodology that became hallmarks of his leadership style, particularly in distributed team environments.
JP’s 13-year experience in Australia from 2003 to 2016 marked a period of significant professional growth. Starting as a Software Architect in Brisbane’s health technology sector, he progressively took on larger challenges—from managing the first stage of a AU$13 million government project at the Queensland Department of Education to leading 40-person teams at mining software company Mincom, and eventually directing Asia-Pacific operations for Boréalis with budgets exceeding AU$5.5 million.
During this time, JP mastered large-scale project recovery, turning around failing initiatives and building high-performing teams. His work spanned mining, oil, gas, government, and cloud technologies, giving him exposure to enterprise-scale challenges and modern software development practices. He developed a knack for managing cultural diversity, working across time zones, and delivering complex solutions for global clients, including Coca-Cola, American Express, and major energy companies.
In 2016, JP founded Casoft International, a development center specializing in software engineering, testing, and deployment. Operating remotely across France, Casoft provided critical support for Edulog’s school transportation management system, helping establish it as a leader in the North American market. As Program Director, JP oversaw:
- Software development for Edulog’s School Transportation Management Solution.
- Cross-continental coordination between teams in the US, France, and Vietnam.
- Implementation of micro-services architecture systems in AWS cloud.
- Establishment of testing teams and DevOps CI/CD processes.
- Compliance with SOC2 security framework standards.
Casoft’s strength lay in its diverse team of 14 professionals, whose international backgrounds and expertise enabled the delivery of high-quality solutions. With the planned transition of Casoft in early 2026, JP is now focusing on leveraging his extensive experience in project management, Agile coordination, and organizational leadership to support new initiatives.
Today, JP offers his expertise to organizations seeking:
- Project recovery and transformation for complex, high-stakes initiatives.
- Cross-functional leadership to align technical and business teams.
- Process optimization through Agile, OKR, and KPI-driven methodologies.
- Strategic guidance for digital and organizational transitions.
With a career spanning France, Switzerland, Australia, and beyond, JP brings a global perspective, a results-driven approach, and a commitment to excellence to every collaboration.
